School Name: Robert McQueen High School

Project Overview: This campaign is geared toward providing funding that will support the excellent journalism program at McQueen High School. We print six issues per year and are hopeful to take our journalism skills into the 21st century through our website, McQNews.com.

Annual Budget:
Printing Costs (6 issues at 16 pages) - $4000
Camayak (a newsroom organization program) - $600
Quill & Scroll Memberships & Materials - $100-$200
Computer Maintenance - Unknown. Last year I spent over $2000, but I'm hoping that work will last several years. Our printer is on its last legs, so it may require some repair in the near future.
Supplies (paper, ink, etc.) - $100-$500
Contest Entries - $200
Conferences - $1200-1500 per student

If we do NOT hit our goal, the funds will be used for printing the paper, maintaining essential equipment, and providing necessary supplies.
