Spanish Springs High School Color Guard.
There are currently 13 students on the SSHS Color Guard. The guard welcomes ANY high school student interesting in working with dance, music and equipment such as Flags, Rifles and Sabers. We encourage students both male and female and hope to see more students interested in joining the team for the next school year. The Color Guard is funded completely by the parents of the students and fundraisers. The average cost each semester is $450 per student. Unfortunately there are many students who cannot afford the fees and are unable to participate. We would like to purchase supplies for the team to cut down of the total out of pocket the students would need to pay.
- Storage for all uniforms and shoes
- Mobile Sound System for practices (we use the gym, football field & grass areas)
- Proper storage for flags, silks and equipment
- T Shirts for summer camp
- New Silks with school colors used at School functions such as football games
Total Amount Needed: $2000
If we do not hit our fundraising goal we will make purchases we have the funding for.
